Partnerships and Collaborations:
- Fostering partnerships with established organizations both at a national and international levels. These partnerships could be vital in bringing technical expertise, financial support, and facilitating a smoother implementation process.
Research and Development:
- Given the technological component of the project, it is beneficial to have a dedicated research and development unit as soon as possible, focusing on technological innovations and their applications in agriculture, data center and energy management, and other areas.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Integrate a continuous monitoring and evaluation mechanism to track the progress of different objectives and recalibrate strategies as necessary. This will help in timely identification of issues and allow for course corrections, ensuring the objectives are met within the stipulated time frame.
- Create community committees to oversee the development of various projects and to identify potential areas of conflict and resolution, assuring constant feedback.
Financial Planning and Management:
- A more detailed financial planning and management strategy to ensure the financial sustainability of the project. This could include a detailed budget breakdown, potential revenue streams, and investment plans.
Legal Compliance and Advisory Board:
- Establish a legal advisory board to oversee the compliance with the existing laws and regulations, and to navigate potential legal hurdles that might come up.
Public Relations and Marketing:
- Public relations and marketing strategy to build a strong transparent brand image and attract investment and partnerships. This strategy could also focus on international recognition and awards, enhancing the credibility and visibility of the project.
Short-Term Objectives (1-2 Years)
Acquire Land in Turkana
- Objective Metrics: Successfully secure min. 5-hectare land plot within the first three months, complete with legal documentation and endorsements from local community and governing bodies.
- Risk Management: Develop strategies to mitigate potential legal and environmental challenges that might arise during the land acquisition process.
- Community Collaboration: Initiate community engagement meetings to foster a cooperative relationship with the local populace, ensuring the project aligns with their needs and aspirations.
Initial Funding
- Objective Metrics: Raise Euros through investment and grants within the first six months to inaugurate project operations.
- Risk Management: Identify and strategise against potential financial risks including fluctuations in currency and investment market volatility.
- Community Collaboration: Establish a community investment fund to allow local and International residents to financially participate in and benefit from the project.
Pilot Agriculture Program
- Objective Metrics: Implement syntropic agriculture, permaculture and energy systems in a pilot area covering at least 5 hectares, aiming to cultivate within the first two years to provide affordable food for the Turkana community and generate income from energy sales for True-Development.
- Risk Management: Develop contingency plans to address potential agricultural setbacks such as adverse weather conditions or pest infestations.
- Community Collaboration: Incorporate local expertise and labour in developing and managing the agricultural program, fostering skill transfer and community ownership.
Local Employment
- Objective Metrics: Employ and/or train a minimum of 30 local Turkana residents within the first year of operation to oversee farming and energy systems.
- Risk Management: Develop a comprehensive workplace safety and training program to minimise risks related to labour and operations.
- Community Collaboration: Collaborate with local leaders to identify potential candidates and create skill development programs, fostering community growth and involvement.
Tech Infrastructure
- Objective Metrics: Establish a green data network and center in Lodwar and initiate the automation of processes within the first two years.
- Risk Management: Implement strategies to secure the network against potential power and cyber risks or threats and ensure data integrity.
- Community Collaboration: Engage the local community in awareness programs concerning the technological advancements brought by the project, ensuring inclusivity in technological benefits.
Spiritual Programs
- Objective Metrics: Initiate regular spiritual activities, including meditation and awareness programs, attracting participants globally within the first two years.
- Risk Management: Develop strategies to foster tolerance and understanding for our belief and amidst diverse spiritual beliefs and practices.
- Community Collaboration: Engage with local spiritual leaders to create programs that resonate with and incorporate local spiritual traditions, fostering a global spiritual community.
